THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CHRISTIAN- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Jonathan Steele, reading Ephesians 5:14, warning Christians of lethargy and apathy. Scripture says arise, and Christ will pour upon us the light of divine truth, as He gives light to men aroused from sleep. Believers are called to arise from being dead to the things of the Spirit. Pastor Gabe says too often believers are like a boat drifting in the ocean without a sail. We must not drift aimlessly, without direction; every Christian should have a course of action. In Christ, all Christians are called to something in the Kingdom of God. When we anchor our faith in Christ and Him crucified, God, through His Holy Spirit will make our calling and purpose very clear.
