Are you giving the Holy Spirit full reign in your life to lead you into the will of God for your life? Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professors Dr. Dave Watts and Adam Denoon discussing the power of God and how the Holy Spirit works in a believer’s life. As believers, we need to understand the magnitude of this power, to withstand the powers of darkness, that will go against us. We must be enlightened to the supernatural power within us to keep us living the Holy life we are called to. Dr. Watts says, holiness is not the way to Jesus, but Jesus is the way to holiness. Sanctification, and a victorious Christian walk, is not something we do in our flesh; it’s what we believe. Christ's finished work on Calvary’s Cross is the only power that trumps all other powers; with our faith anchored there, the Holy Spirit will pull us in the right direction, and keep us in the place where He can mold us into who we are called to be, In Christ.
