Today on The Generation of the Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart welcomes Crossfire Youth Pastor, Paris Ragan and JSBC recruiter and professor, Dr. David Watts. The panel addresses the issues of youth ministry. Dr. Watts says, you don’t have to have rock shows or rap shows, or be sensational to give today’s youth what they need. They need what we all need, Jesus Christ. If you’ll preach the gospel and allow the Holy Spirit to move, God will save young people. He’ll fill them with His Spirit, and He’ll set them free, and lead them to walk in the freedom and liberty that’s found in the Message of the Cross. Brother Gabe says he believes that God is opening doors in Baton Rouge and giving access to this generation. The goal is to reach this generation in this city, and reach this generation in our state, in our nation, and around the world. The panel agrees that God is raising up the next generation for a great and mighty work.
