The Christian must put off lying. Lying is perpetrating falsehoods. Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC professor David Watts discussing deception. Lying is used to get a person what they want; through this seducing spirit, lying is used to manipulate and cover up. The devil is the accuser of the brethren; he is accusing and dividing the family of God on a daily basis. The world destroys its own; a child of God must put off lying. We must embrace the Spirit of the truth. Pastor Gabe encourages us to grow spiritually so we will not be deceived by the lies that have infiltrated the church.
