Today on The Generation of the Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC professors Adam Denoon, David Watts, and Paris Ragan. The panel discusses bible college is an alternative, a biblical alternative to a secular university. Pastor Gabe says as Jimmy Swaggart Bible College is working through the accreditation process, there are plenty of degree programs now and that list will be growing. Once the accreditation is complete, JSBC will have more distinctions, more schools, and more colleges; that is, there will be several different schools within the college, a school of theology, which is already in place, a school of education, a school of music, a school of communication, a school of business. This is a perfect opportunity to get those general studies taken care of, but at the same time, get a foundation of the word of God embedded into your Spirit. Pastor Gabe says while not every student is called into the five-fold ministry, every young believer needs a good understanding of the Word of God with the Holy Spirit working on that foundation of faith.
