The covenant God made with Abraham involved his son Isaac, not Ishmael. Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss Israel’s most recent peace agreements with a few of her neighboring nations, all orchestrated by President Trump. They also discuss the 1979 peace accord with Egypt, and the peace agreement with Jordan in the mid-ninties. Brother Josh asks, is the Lord pleased with Israel for entering into these agreements where Israel has lost major pieces of sovereignty. Until Israel accepts Jesus Christ as her Prince of Peace, her Savior, when He returns during the Battle of Armageddon, will the Lord be happy with these current peace efforts? Brother John worries that this may not be in God’s will for Israel at this hour. The Bible says, no one has the right to part that land, it’s God’s land. If we make a misstep with regards to Israel, the United States could lose God’s hand of protection.
