Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the budget of the United States government, looking back at fiscal year 2021, as President Biden is calling for yet more taxes on businesses and corporations; Congress must agree to his wishes. Approximately 4-trillion in taxes were collected in fiscal year 2021, with 371-billion of that being corporate income tax revenues. In the first six months of this year already, the government has brought in record high taxes of 2.1-trillion for the first half of 2022 fiscal year. As always, spending is consistently outpacing revenue. Brother Josh says if we as individuals can’t survive on spending more than we bring in, why is this the norm for our government?
