Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses fear in the world with regards to money. Looking back at the recession of 2008-2009, he addresses the safety of money in the bank today. Brother Josh says at that time regulations were very loose and much of what happened was based on too few regulations in the mortgage industry. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act came into place to recover from what happened and protect from it happening again. Brother Josh says there is no way the government can come in and take an individual’s money out of the bank. Brother Josh says situations can change, so we must be aware; but we don’t want to be extreme where there is a bank run, which can result in a depression. As we know, banks only keep a fraction of their deposits on reserve, lending much to make interest on the money at hand. Brother Josh warns us to be aware of frequently used terminology, that being, equity and equality. He says the word equity is socialism, make no mistake, it has nothing to do with making things equal. Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses fear in the world with regards to money.
