After the upcoming midterms, we will see a media blitz begin in 2023 leading right into the 2024 election. Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern turn their attention to Washington D.C., looking at the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act, which deals with the platform of the media. Tech companies would be forced to give a higher compensation for their news needs being met; offering a safe harbor to do collective bargaining. If this happens, Brother Josh says the power and influence of the mainstream news outlets will increase; and despite a growing audience for alternative, smaller, more conservative news sources, those options for news will diminish. Brother John says the media is following the concepts of historical philosophers; when people identify with a group, they will follow the majority rather than try to break out, educate themselves, and stand for their own beliefs, i.e., indoctrination. Christians must see these devices of Satan and stand up for the issues, making sure to vote in alliance with the Word of God.
