Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses Phase I of President Trump’s plan to bring a ceasefire in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas. President Trump says there will be a rebuilding of the Gaza, funded by the wealthy surrounding nations that want to infuse capital into the region. Who will lead the government in the region will be addressed in Phase II, creating a “panel for peace”. A statement from Hamas includes a thank you to all mediators who negotiated for a full withdrawal of the “Israeli occupation” of the Gaza Strip. Brother Josh says this proves that the terrorist mindset has not changed. Hamas says the ceasefire is the fruit of their people’s sacrifice. It has not been in vain; the statement continues, Hamas still seeks national rights for the Palestinian people and will continue until freedom and independence are achieved.
