Today on Insight, Josh and John Rosenstern discuss President Trump’s trip to Japan and that the new Prime Minister of Japan gave Trump the red carpet treatment. Toyota is set to build new manufacturing plants in the US to the tune of tens of billions of dollars bringing many jobs to the US. Brother Josh says this is a great reflection of Trump’s tariff plans and how America will benefit. Japan is an ally, and more tied to the US than ever before. Trump is now on to South Korea and China. If the government shutdown continues, come November 1st, the stoppage of the government food stamp program will affect many and looting is expected. Brother John explains how this is the typical chaos that comes when dependency on the government is created and perpetually expanded. Short-term help is just that, to help people get independent again; but this expanded ongoing eligibility through mounting government handouts, is not helpful in the long-term.
