THRONE OF GRACE- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Joseph Larson preaches on God’s grace, reading Hebrews 416. If we don’t know God, we can’t know grace. Hebrews has a theme of fear, warning the believer, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation. We need God’s grace, but Brother Joseph warns us that the false teachings of the Grace Revolution movement are lying against God. They say because we are not under law, but under grace, God is not dealing severely with sin. Brother Joseph says this is the opposite of what God says about sin; we have a better covenant and a greater promise and rejection would mean a greater consequence. Grace makes the heart stable; we don’t have to be confused by every wind of doctrine. Let us have grace so that we serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear. We must not leave this throne of grace. It is alive and consumes all that we do. The Word of God gets into all the crevices of our lives, and it exposes all that we are; so then, what is exposed can be healed. He has all that we need; we won’t make it in this life without His grace. He is a merciful God and is looking for anyone who will have ears to hear. He wants to bless His children when we repent and believe. We must fear not; though our sins be as scarlet, He’ll make them white as snow.
