HERE AM I, SEND ME- Our creator of the universe claimed Israel as His for the whole world to see.
Tonight at Family Worship Center Powerhouse Kidz Pastor Jonathan Steele reads Isaiah 6:8-13
teaching on repentance and service with the story of Israel. When any man or woman denies God, judgment is the result because sin is a downward spiral. God showed Israel mercy when King David brought the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. For a while, Israel experienced peace and expansion, which ended in the split of Israel into two kingdoms. The prophet Isaiah was called to the Northern Kingdom which had some of the most evil leadership. Isaiah realized before the presence of the Lord he was undone and repented, saying I will go and preach repentance to the people. Israel rejected Isaiah’s call to repentance; but God promised a seed would come from His chosen people so a remnant would be preserved. God will always have a remnant. Just as Isaiah, believers must say the same, here I am Lord, use me; we must not be silent. Through faith in the Cross of Christ, we are all called to ministry through volunteering, discipling, and witnessing. We must tell the lost all the good things God has done. Sheep begat sheep. The harvest is plenty. Will you say, send me Lord?
