LIVING A COMPLICATED, UNOFFENDED LIFE- Tonight at Family Worship Center, guest Pastor Josh Franks of Peoples’ Tabernacle Church in Savannah Tennessee reads Isaiah 59:19-21 teaching on the trials of life. Brother Franks reminds us of the complications of the Israelites after believing on the blood of the Lamb and crossing the Red Sea. It was an up and downhill journey through the wilderness for some forty years. With every complication thrown our way in our Christian walk, we must look to Christ and draw near to His provision; but we can be sure, the closer we draw near to God, the enemy attacks all the more. Pastor Franks advises us to not do as the Israelites did by putting God on and off. No matter our tribulations in this life we must abide in Christ and to His Word; Jesus said, blessed is he who is not offended by Him. If we choose to get mad at God for our circumstances in this life it will only give Satan the opportunity to use it against us. While God’s will for our lives may not get easier, the blessings will come, for we can count on all the promises of God. (2nd Corinthians 1:20)
