GUARD THE ALTAR- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor David Watts reads Numbers 18:1-7, teaching on the altar of God and the special accountability believers can find there. Dr. Watts discusses the sacredness of the altar and the reason we respond to altar calls. The altar is a place of reverence and it’s a place where we can humble ourselves unto the Lord. It’s a place of confession, where we can cry out to the Lord with our needs; saying God, I give it to you. The altar is a place of response where we see salvation, deliverance, miracles, and healings. When we preach the Cross, and bring back the altar call, we can expect the power of God to respond. The Holy Spirit moves where the Cross of Christ is lifted up.
