WHAT MANNER OF PEOPLE OUGHT WE BE? - We need a personal, experiential knowledge of the Word of God as we grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Joseph Larson preaches from 2nd Peter 3:1-4, preaching on Peter’s last message to the church. Brother Joseph says all believers need to make their calling and election sure. The church needs to be the church, and that includes the need for preaching the whole Bible to understand how we are to live Holy lives in wait for the Savior’s return. To deny the Word of God, and the second coming of Christ, is to deny Jesus as Savior. So many men scoff at this biblical truth for moral reasons; i.e. justifying their sin. This world is destined for destruction by fire, just as the old was judged by water. The church will be judged. The Apostle Peter, and Brother Joseph says today, beware not to be led away by the error of the lawless man. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. The grace received at salvation is the same grace we need to grow in Christ. His grace is found only in the Cross of Christ.
