THE COMMAND MUST NOT CHANGE- We are justified by faith. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Josh Rosenstern preaches on God’s promise to Abraham’s seed, reading from Joshua 1:9 and Joshua 13:1-2. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Out of Abraham's seed would come the Messiah. God promised the land to Abraham's seed; God’s chosen, Israel. Believers today are like Israel of old; as Israel was brought out of Egyptian bondage, she still wandered some 40 years in the desert in unbelief. Eventually, led by Joshua, with restored faith, they came into the Promised Land. God restores when His children are obedient with their faith. God’s command under Moses was be not afraid, for I will be with you wherever you go. Are we living strong and of good courage, claiming the promises of God? He is with us! The Lord told Joshua, you have seen much, but there is more land to be possessed. Because of faith in Christ alone, at the Second Coming of Christ all believers will be there, nothing more is required.
