THE MODEL FOR RESTORATION- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson preaches on restoration, reading Psalm 51:1-19, David’s prayer of repentance. It is impossible to live a guilt free life without understanding justification. Brother Larson takes us through this restoration model as we learn what it means to go home, grow strong, and go tell. While we still live in a body of flesh with a sin nature, we must learn that at times failure will come; but this does not excuse us from a pursuit of perfection, for we grow in the benefits that we’ve received when we are born again. We don’t lose our salvation just because we stumble. The message of the Cross understood, and believed, will manifest in a believer’s life and we will walk out a victorious Christian life. We can be a light and an example in an anti-God world; we can progress in what God has already provided for us in Christ at salvation. We are washed, sanctified, and justified. Joy and peace comes in an enormous and majestic way when we understand and receive the forgiveness God has for us.
