DON’T LEAVE BEFORE YOU GET TO JORDAN- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Joseph Larson reads 2nd Kings 2:11-14 preaching on the blessings of God that are a guarantee if His Children will remain vigilant to stay the course. The Prophet Elisha, even while facing heartbreak over Elijah, sought the Lord and persevered to cross over Jordan despite the many roadblocks put up by Satan. Brother Joseph encourages us to follow Christ no matter the obstacles we face, for it is all a part of our spiritual journey. Through this story, we can know our failures will come to an end for God has triumphed over our enemies, through the Cross of Christ and in His presence we can stand. Just as Elisha sought Elijah’s spirit and mantle; we can say Lord, give me a double portion, and we to can see and receive revelation. We can take up His mantle, and He will part the water. God has left us something; we can pick up His Cross, and by His power and grace, we will receive and experience His good gifts.
