ALTITUDE SICKNESS-Tonight at Family Worship Center, Crossfire Associate Pastor, Shaun Murphy reads Ecclesiastes 1:1-5 and chapter twelve verses 12-15 teaching on how the believer can learn from the highs and lows in David’s life. Just as David experienced, God will press His children, which is all a part of our growth. Everything God does is with purpose and intention. Pastor Shaun warns us that even when we find ourselves on a mountaintop, we must never stop seeking more of God and His presence, as we will always be in the transformation process, becoming more and more like Christ. Likening our heights of growth to that of adjusting to higher altitude, if we don’t trust in the Lord solely during all times, bad and good, there will be a sickness of sorts that will result. We will become slothful in our pursuit of Him. We can avoid the “Altitude sickness" of this life, if we trust in Christ alone, pursuing more of Him everyday, hungering for His presence.
