STUCK TO THE SWORD- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Guest Evangelist Adam Fulghum reads 2nd Samuel 23:8-10 teaching on the power of the Word of God. Brother Adam explains how the power of God was with David’s mighty men as he emphasizes the life of Eleazar, who knew God was with him, and he was not afraid. Even when he grew weary, his hand would not separate from the sword, but he clave to it. As we read in the Bible, we see how the physical sword then is a type of the Word of God today. Brother Adam says Christ is our defense; He is the Word made flesh. The bible is an inspired source, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the very Word of God we can stand on. It is stable and has supernatural power. Jesus Christ’s life and death shine on every page, for He is our bright and shining star. The living Word will protect us when we are weak; for every battle we face in this life, He is our victor we can cling to.
