THE EFFECTS OF A PRAYING CHURCH- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from Acts 4:23-31, encouraging believers to pray. When the church prays, things happen. Pastor Gabe says considering the climate of today’s world, now more than ever, Christians need to be praying. Even after Peter fails the Lord, Jesus tells him, I prayed for you. Persecution comes to every believer, as Satan tries to stop the work of God in our lives; Pastor Gabe says the Lord allows this to test our faith. We must keep knocking and the Lord will answer as He sees fit, in His time. Pastor Gabe encourages us, no matter our circumstances, if we believe God He will open our closed doors and pour out His Spirit in our lives. In Acts, the believers asked for healing with boldness and the walls shook with the power of God.
