REMEMBER- Today At Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads 1st Corinthians 11:23-32 teaching on the church ordinances of water baptism and communion. We are reminded that there are no saving factors in either ordinance. A person being baptized in water is an outward expression of the salvation that has already taking place in the heart. With communion, we are taking a broken piece of bread or cracker and a drink of juice to remember His broken body and shed blood; this reminds us of His death at Calvary, which atoned for all our sins. We must not forget the price that was paid. Communion identifies the past, as we celebrate the present, in order to anticipate the future, until His return.
