PERSISTANCY, PERSERVEREANCE, AND IMPORTUNITY- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 7:7-12 and James 4:2-3, teaching on how the believer can make requests unto the Lord, and how persistency is okay with God. The devil will come against us and create doubt in our minds to not ask, or quit asking. Scripture tells us, we have not, because we ask not. Sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers right away; maybe, because the request is outside of God’s will for our lives. But sometimes, God wants us to keep seeking Him, because when we ask and seek, we will often times find what we are looking for. It must be God’s timing and not our own. We must not let discouragement set in during the wait. In the wait, God is molding us and making us into the person He wants us to be. Our prayer should be, change my heart O God. Importunity means to keep knocking on His door and never stop.
