THE GOLDEN RULE- We look inward, step outward, and live upward. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 7:12 teaching on how a believer is expected to treat others. Jesus’ words are clear; this is the law and the prophets, do unto others, as we would want others to do unto us. Reading Matthew 5:17, we see that Jesus did not come to destroy the law and the prophets, but came to fulfill it. We are called to be Kingdom people. This is the law, and this is what we are to “do”, when we believe. When we are found in Christ, we must look within; then, seek the Holy Spirit to help us live out this love for others. We cannot live the Golden Rule without God, for God first loved us.
