UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads 1st Chronicles 12:1 and verse 32. Pastor Donnie rebukes weak church leadership for the signs of trouble all around. The pulpit must be strong and come against that which is spiritual, as these are not political issues, but moral ones. Just as God’s mighty men of valor had to separate themselves to the leadership of David, believers must separate ourselves to our heavenly David. When we are fit for battle, we know our weapons. Faith in the finished work of Christ leads us in understanding and wisdom of what His Word tells us regarding the power and protection we have in Christ through the Holy Spirit. Believers must lead, stand, and pray that His will be done in the name of Jesus.
