JOSIAH’S REVIVAL- Gospel music great, Adam Crabb joined the Family Worship Center singers and musicians with a powerful praise and worship that led into a timely message from Pastor Donnie Swaggart. Reading 2nd Chronicles 34:1-2, we see God’s people wanting their choice for king, choosing Saul. Not everything that looks good is good. God sent Samuel to warn the people. The will of God may get delayed, but it won’t be stopped. Division then comes between the Northern and Southern kingdoms; just as today, we see our nation is greatly divided. We have similar sins, just as the sins of Israel, coming against justice because hearts and minds are on evil. The church needs to cry out to God, and come back to the righteousness of God. When Josiah becomes King of Judah, he is eight years old. This was right in the sight of the Lord. His holiness and righteousness should be the heartbeat of every believer. The unity the world needs today will not happen until the church comes back to the Cross of Christ; repentance must happen, then, we will see a great revival. God’s timing is just as important as God’s will.
