ELIJAH PREPARED THE ALTAR OF THE LORD THAT WAS BROKEN DOWN- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads 1st Kings 18:30 looking at the evil leadership of King Ahab and his wife Jezebel, comparing them to the many evil leaders in America today. Pastor Donnie warns Christians, that Jesus is not looking for a date, He’s looking for a bride. Any other way, then faith in Christ and Him crucified, is spiritual adultery. The Jezebel spirit in the world is the spirit of seduction. In the church, this Jezebel spirit’s motive is to lead the church away from the Cross and the truth of the Bible. Brother Donnie says pastors must make ready a people; a people ready to meet the Lord. Elijah told the wicked King, he could hear a sound of an abundance of rain. Believers today need an understanding of the times; the rain is coming, and the Holy Spirit will be poured out. Christianity is the only thing that is keeping this nation together, and revival will come when the altar of the Lord is repaired in our own hearts.
