THIS IS THAT- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Acts 2:14-18 teaching on the Acts 2 experience of being baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Brother Donnie encourages every believer to go forward into the baptism of the Holy Spirit because everything Jesus has for us is wonderful. The Holy Spirit is the rest and refreshing now, just as much as He was on the day of Pentecost, as that first outpouring was the birth of the church. Pastor Donnie asks if the first church was Pentecostal, what should the church be today? The church today must be a church of power. If we needed His power when the church began, then we need in even more now. This is that, which we see all through scripture. The power, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit is what we need, as we fight the good fight of the faith. This is that, which anointed Jesus Christ and raised Him from the dead, raising Him victorious over death, hell, sin, and the powers of darkness.
