THE BEATITUDES, A CHRISTIAN’S CHARACTER- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 5:1-12 discusses being conscience of moral and spiritual poverty, i.e., being poor in Spirit. When man lays down all pride, and comes to the awareness, that we are nothing without God, we will then find ourselves being blessed by God. In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus instructed His followers that all humanity has a character problem, rooted in sin. At Calvary, Christ paid our sin debt with His own precious blood and offered lost man redemption through faith in His finished work alone. This is the only way man can live up to the standard of God. We will then see our faith in the Cross play-out in our lives, and the kingdom of Heaven will be ours.
