GOD QUALIFIES THOSE WHO ARE CALLED- Today at Family Worship Center, we welcome Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient Dave Roever. He reads from Psalms 84:5-7 preaching on the believer’s living on this highway to heaven in a valley of darkness and brokenness. Brother Roever shares his testimonial of survival after a grenade blast six inches from his head during the Vietnam War. Burning from the inside out, losing 60 pounds of flesh, Brother Roever has undergone some 62 reconstructive surgeries. He takes the message of Jesus Christ to the world and other veterans scarred by war. He offers two ranches for weeklong teachings for veterans and their families suffering from war and suicidal thoughts. Brother Dang has translated the Vietnamese and Hmong languages Expositor’s Study bibles and will be going out to those Christians in Vietnam and surrounding region in the very near future.
