A BITTER EXPERIENCE TURNED SWEET- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from Exodus 15:22-25 encouraging the believer to go forward just as the Israelites did when they were faced with the Red Sea before them and the Egyptian army pressing in from behind. Pastor Gabe says just as the Israelites were saved by believing on the Lamb’s blood on the door of their homes, we are to believe on the blood of Christ in our hearts and lives; then, the sanctification process goes to work on our condition. We must trust in the Lord for everything he has for us to walk this life until we meet Him in glory. Pastor Gabe says we too have to walk in a wilderness before we can experience the promises of God. After salvation, the Holy Spirit works on our behalf, but often it take some time to go through some trials and strengthen our faith. Even Jesus experienced 40 days in the wilderness; but be encouraged, that’s not where we stay. Our faith will be stronger for going forward with Christ. We must praise Him and not complain, putting His Cross to our bitter circumstances; He will make them sweet and turn our trials into testimonies. When we stand upon the promises of God, He will bring us through.
