PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS— The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. Today Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart preaches from 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Brother Swaggart reminds us that because we have believed on Jesus Christ and His finished work on Calvary’s Cross, we are soldiers in God’s army. We are all called of God to take the Gospel to the world. Satan wants to hinder us in this battle by making strongholds in our lives. Brother Swaggart encourages us that it is never God’s will for a believer to have a stronghold in their life. We cannot defeat the enemy’s attacks alone. We must know our only weapon is the very name and blood of Jesus Christ. The flesh cannot fight this battle with will power, we must have the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome the wiles of the devil. We are in a spiritual battle; but He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world.
