THE BABE WEPT- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Exodus 2:5-10 teaching on God’s plan for our lives. He encourages us through the story of Moses and how his parents had a divine revelation of how Moses was to be spared and used by God. In the Old Testament, Pharaoh is a type of Satan; and just as these parents heeded to God’s call and not to the evil ruler, believers are called to be obedient to the Word of God and heed the call of God on our lives. Moses was in an ark of protection and safety, a type of Jesus Christ. If the believer today will come to Christ he will find an ark of deliverance. As Moses cried out, the salvation of Israel was in his tears. God has made an escape for all; we only need to get in our ark of protection, that being, Jesus Christ and what He provided at Calvary’s Cross.
