THE MANIAC OF GADARA- Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart preaches on Jesus’ sole purpose for crossing the Sea of Galilee, reading from Mark 5:1-4. There was a man named Legion that needed deliverance from the demons that controlled him. Along the journey, the Lord calms a raging storm with just one hush; his disciples, full of fear, ask, “What manner of man is this?” Brother Swaggart reminds us in every book of God’s Word we have all the representations of God, beginning in Genesis all the way to Revelation. He is Creator, Deliverer, Warrior, Judge, and Restorer. He is power, grace, mercy and so much more. With just one touch of the Master’s hand, the maniac was set free. He asked to follow Christ, but Jesus said, go tell!
