SANCTIFICATION - HOW to do the WHAT to do of Christianity, God’s way. Today Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart clarifies how justification is the deliverance from the penalty of sin, while sanctification is the deliverance from the power of sin. If a person is not found justified, with their faith anchored in Christ Crucified, their sin will separate them from God, and they will spend eternity in hell. Now, if we are saved, with our faith in the Blood of Jesus, the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf and change us into the image of God. Brother Swaggart explains how when a believer draws nearer to God, the light will expose the problems in our lives. Christ is perfection; when we are In Him, we have a position of perfection which is what God sees. Of course our condition, has yet to reach that perfect position; that will not be the case until we make heaven, but we can expect a constant going forward in Christ. Jesus said, if we are going to follow after Him, we must deny self and pick up the Cross daily.
