Powers of darkness are stronger than man, but not stronger than Jesus Christ. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 5:1-2 teaching on the New Covenant promises. There is a victory to be had for all who will believe on the finished work of Christ alone. The government of the Old Covenant law is no longer the covenant of the believer. This was a stumbling block, and very hard for the Jews in Paul’s day to understand. The law was the Jews identify before Christ, so they struggled to receive that Jesus Christ fulfilled all their law. Brother Josh says, even today, we see man’s desire to identify with something more than believing on Christ’s finished work alone. We are not to burden in law and works, but we can enter into His rest.
