God wants us to be like Him. Today on The Message of the Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how Christ became man with the sole purpose of going to the Cross. Brother Swaggart says everything Jesus did was wonderful, but only His work on the Cross defeated Satan and saved man. With Christ's death on the Cross, we see the trinity in its fullness and how redemption was offered for all mankind. Brother Larson says, the Son did nothing without subjecting Himself to the Father, and then the Holy Spirit guided Christ on His earthly ministry. The Triune Godhead is a ministry of faith. Brother Smith says this same unity should be evidence in every believer's life.
