Addressing the condition of the modern church, we see a lot of activity going on in the name of Jesus. Brother Larson says those activities are, too often times, wrongly the focus in the church. When the wrong method of change is pushed, Christians will give up because the change does not come. Sin must not be ignored, but repented of. The Christian's focus must be on the finished work of Christ, then and only then, will the power of the Holy Spirit come in and transform us into what God wants us to be. Brother Swaggart reminds us the cause for Calvary was sin; Christ died for all sinful man who call on His name.
