When we say yes to Christ, we become a new creation. Now, we are in the process of faith and grace, and we will grow as our condition changes by the power of the Holy Spirit. At the moment of salvation, the power of sin is broken. We are sanctified, and therefore, justified; now all future growth and progression comes in believing in the finished work alone, which is the only way to fight off the symptoms of sin.
