All power of Satan was defeated on Calvary’s Cross. Reading Ephesians 5:5, the panel discusses the plan of God, and how, if the Cross of Christ is not our object of faith, such a believer will eventually come to a place of unbelief and lose their soul. God says, by grace we are saved through faith; then, from then on, the Holy Spirit works. We must not frustrate the grace of God by trying to defeat sin with our own works and self-efforts. Flesh cannot take credit for what only God can do.
