Whatever a man sows, that shall he reap. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the typology of the sacrifices of old and the Cross of Christ today. The sacrifices then, stayed the plague; and today, the preaching and teaching of the Cross is the only thing that brings freedom to men and women bound by sin. Brother Swaggart reminds us that humanistic psychology is not the answer and should not be in the church. Any way other than faith in the finished work of Christ is considered leaven and the bible says a little leaven will leaven the whole lump. The believer is in the world, but should not be using world systems to live out a victorious Christian life. On Calvary’s Cross, Jesus said, it is finished.
