What object are you being told to put your faith in? Beware, if it’s not in Christ Crucified, than it’s not from the Lord. Today on The Message Of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how Jesus Christ took all past, present and future sins of humanity upon Himself on the Cross, yet He had no sin Himself. Good works cannot reconcile us to God. The only way a guilty sinner can be reconciled to God is to put one’s faith in the work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Jesus Christ is the New Covenant, and the Cross is the meaning of it. Only Christ can be our covering, and not sinful man, as some in the church would profess. Christians need to recognize their sin and confess them to God and ask Him for forgiveness. Forgiveness cannot be earned; it is given freely by God, and through that justification we can be conformed into His image.
