Is unrepented sin, forgiven by God? Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read 1 John 1:8-9 discussing the conviction of the Holy Spirit that comes and addresses sin in a believer’s life. John was warning that we can lose our souls because of non-repentance over time. The believer must not ignore the need to confess his or her sin; if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. We must admit what we are before the Lord and ask Him to forgive us continually. If we do not, we are in rebellion, and can threaten our salvation. Brother Joseph says repentance is the greatest sign of faith in the earth, and this is where the grace of God can flow in our lives.
