The sin nature is a corrupting force. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the grace of God reading Romans 6:1. The believer is not supposed to be dominated by the sin nature. The panel explains sanctification in the life of a Christian, and how we must learn how to keep the sin nature idle in our life. A regenerated person does not want to sin. Faith in the finished work of Christ is the only way to be set free from the power of sin, and then the Holy Spirit will continue to work to change us into the image of Christ.
