Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how Jesus Christ satisfied all the law through death on Calvary’s Cross. Reading Romans 7:4, we see the Apostle Paul addressing how man is to respond to the Mosaic Law, and any other law. The Cross provides mankind freedom from the law. While we are all born under law, and we are unable to keep it means we need freedom. By accepting the finished work of Christ, we are set free from this jailhouse of sin. Grace frees us from the penalty of sin, from its power, and then we are given a power source, which is the Holy Spirit who will lead us to pursue holy living.
