The Apostle Paul came preaching the gospel to the Galatian Church, not the law. The same holds true for the church today. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Bill Bailey from Happy Gospel Church in Bradenton Florida. The panel discusses works and manmade laws; these contradict grace and faith in Christ, which is what takes care of the sin problem of man. Through Christ, we are delivered from a system of works. Christ’s death on Calvary’s Cross paid the debt for our sins, which is a debt we cannot pay. The Holy Spirit then brings the benefits of Calvary to our lives when we believe on His finished work and that alone.
