Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth? Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 3:1, discussing the Apostle Paul’s correction to the churches in Galatia as they tried to wrongly hold on to the law. In 2nd Timothy, we see Paul warning of the wayward ways of the church, he says preach the Word and reprove and rebuke that, which is false. The Galatian churches were taught correct doctrine from the beginning, but many bent their ear to the false that was presented to them in a mesmerizing matter. Brother John says he sees this in the modern church today. Beware of the techniques used to turn the believer from truth; these come in a way that spurs man’s emotions through experiences. Preachers and church leaders must be watchmen for the truth of what Christ accomplished at Calvary.
