The best way to get rid of an enemy is to make them a friend. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel welcome special guests Vietnam Purple Heart Recipient Dave Roever and Dan Dang sharing how nothing can substitute the written Word of God. At this time, 135-thousand people are studying the Bible in Vietnam. The two are overseeing the translation of the Expositor’s Study Bible into the Vietnamese/ Hmong languages; sharing how it will greatly change the study for so many. Both languages will be side by side in the Bible and will go to print shortly after this December. Brother Swaggart says he plans to send 100-thousand Expositor’s Study bibles as soon as they are complete. Brother Roever says 90 million Vietnamese could be impacted by the creation of this bible going out to Vietnam and the Hmong people in Northern Vietnam and China. Brother Roever says the people in Vietnam need John 3:16, not M-16’s. Brother Roever shares how Mission Vietnam began and the miracle of God that brought Roever and Dang’s union to take this Gospel all over the world with a special focus to share Jesus with the warriors and families who have been wounded in battle.
