The Cross of Christ changes lives. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the simplicity that is found in Christ. Every believer needs to learn how to anchor his or her faith in the finished work of Christ for a lifetime. When we do, the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf to change us into the image of Christ. Christ triumphed on the Cross over Satan. It was a completed victory. He died to justify us of all our sin, but He also died to free us from the power of sin. When we are born again, we are washed, justified, and we are sanctified. There should be a persistent humility in our life to believe on His finished work alone, then we wait on the Lord, allowing the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do in our lives.
